FSOG Your Way Competition Terms and Conditions
(“the Terms”)
Lovehoney and Fifty Shades have collaborated to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Fifty Shades brand. To celebrate, Lovehoney and Fifty Shades, are giving away prize bundles worth over US$1,300 (“the Prize”) to three winners.
These Terms govern the Fifty Shades of Grey Your Way Competition where you (“the Entrant”) must submit a piece of work reimagining the Fifty Shades scenario whilst exploring what BDSM and kinks mean to you (“the Competition”). By entering this Competition you agree to these Terms.
The promoter of this competition is Lovehoney Limited, 100 Locksbrook Road, Bath BA1 3EN, United Kingdom (“Lovehoney”), in collaboration with Fifty Shades Ltd.
The Competition opens at 16:30 (GMT) on 1 June 2021 and closes at 23:59 (GMT) on 24 July 2021. Any entrees before or after this time will not be counted.
All entries must be submitted on the lovehoney website through the competition upload form to be valid. Entries can be in any artistic form, with notes and any details as set out in the entry form. All films must be under five minutes.
The Prize may consist of:
US$1,300 prize bundle of Fifty Shades of Grey products, including signed versions by E L James herself;
a chance to have their work seen by E L James;
a VIP invite to an exclusive Fifty Shades of Grey event later on this year, at which your work will be showcased; and
the opportunity to have your work showcased across Lovehoney’s social channels.
All entrants will receive a discount code of 15% off, to use across the Lovehoney websites (UK, US & AU only)
A panel of expert judges will review the entries and decide on the Entrant(s) who will win the Prize (“the Winner”). Three Winners will be chosen in total, one from the United Kingdom, one from The United States of America and one from Australia.
There may only be one entry per Entrant,
Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
Any entries that the Lovehoney considers (in our absolute discretion) to be too explicit, dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal, racist, copied, offensive, cruel or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights or copyright of others will be immediately disqualified.
Any incomplete, illegible or late entries shall not be considered.
The Winner’s will be notified by email that their entries have won by 15 October 2021 and will be asked to provide the relevant information to accept the Prize.
The Winner must respond to the email within 7 days of the email date to collect their Prize or Lovehoney reserves the right to choose another Entrant as a Winner.
The Prize shall be delivered to a single address chosen by the Winner at Lovehoney’s cost.
Lovehoney shall not be held responsible for Winner’s failing to supply accurate information which affects the Prize acceptance or delivery.
The Entrant must not be employed by, or related to Lovehoney, its agents, or anyone professionally connected to this Competition including the judges.
The Entrant, by entering the Competition agrees to the use of their personal information and for the purposes of the Competition including for marketing and PR purposes and further agrees to co-operate with reasonable publicity on behalf of Lovehoney.
The Winner, by accepting the Prize, agrees to the use of their personal information and their entry for publicity purposes including, but not limited to the event display part of the Prize, announcement of the winner and marketing and PR purposes.
The Entrants’ information will be processed in line with the Lovehoney Privacy Policy.
Lovehoney and Fifty Shades reserves the right to amend the Prize at anytime.
The Prize is non-refundable, cannot be exchanged and/or resold. There are no cash or alternative prizes.
Entry into the Competition is at the Entrant’s sole risk. To the extent permitted by law, Lovehoney shall not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses or claims (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) suffered by Entrants, any third parties arising out of or in connection with the Competition and/or the acceptance of a Prize. Lovehoney further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to Entrants, Winners or any other person relating to or resulting from participation with this Competition. Nothing in these Terms shall act to limit or exclude Lovehoney’s liability resulting from its negligence or fraud.
Lovehoney accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to, lost, delayed or not received entries, winner notifications or prizes. Lovehoney will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of Lovehoney.
The Entrant hereby agrees to not provide any Content which may adversely affect the functionality of any computer software and/or hardware is untrue, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, offensive or malicious is in breach of any intellectual property rights of any third party if published by Lovehoney would be illegal, unlawful, contrary to public morality or would be reasonably likely to cause loss or damage to Lovehoney.
Entrant’s undertake that any entry made to the Competition is original and their own work and that they own all the intellectual property rights in such entry.
The Entrant retains ownership of all intellectual property rights subsisting in the entry submitted to the Competition.The Winner provides Lovehoney a perpetual royalty-free worldwide license to use your entry for the purposes of the Competition and Prize, and for historical display purposes.
Lovehoney Limited shall be entitled, at its absolute discretion, to publish, correct, refuse, or delete all or part of entry provided to it and make minor modifications to entries without changing its meaning.
You assume full responsibility for any Content published on the Fifty Shades of Grey Your Way site which is published in substantially the same form as received by us.
The decision of the judges in relation to the winning content and the decision of Lovehoney in relation to all other matters is final and binding. Neither the judges nor Lovehoney will enter into any correspondence concerning any aspect of the Competition.
Lovehoney reserves the right to verify the Winners and ask for proof of identity, age and address and to withdraw any Prize entitlement where there are grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms.
This Competition shall not create any partnership or any form of employment between the Entrant and Lovehoney.
These Terms do not affect the Entrant’s statutory rights.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
